Starbucks Kiosk - Serving gourmet coffee and baked goods. We decided to book here after watching a video of a couple who stayed here. Felt very safe within the walls of the fort. Lots of security around the entrance. They greet you each and every time. They rush to get the door for you.
Greet you with water bottles. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The navigator was great. She was very wonderful in helping us get around the island and spoke 5 languages. The room was very clean. We had plenty of towels during our stay. Coffee machine, a safe, mini frig in room.
We had a view to the street and it was surprisingly quiet. There are 2 infinity pools. We went to the hotels casino but we are not big on gambling so can't say more on that. The hotel is in Otrabanda not too far from Punda and the floating bridge. You can see the cruise ships when they are in. The restaurants in the hotel are a little over priced We ate at the outdoor restaurant by the swimming pools.
A little pricey but the food was good. Within the fort, there are a few restaurants, none were authentic but if you don't have a car or don't want to leave the area then it is convenient. Overall we loved it and would stay there again. I'll try to be as accurate and objective as possible.
Hotel location is great just a short walk from the shop area and the moving bridge. Check in was quick. The room view was of the street and got noise from the nearby restaurants and bars. The room seemed clean but a bit old, you can notice it specially on the carpet which looks and in the hallway it even had some stains. The bed was comfy but for an SPG hotel, it kind of disappointed to see the sheets were not changed in 2 days, I actually had to ask the housekeeping staff to give us fresh sheets and pillow covers.
During the 5 nights of my stay the sheets were only changed twice. The floor in the room was never vacuumed although the bathroom floor was cleaned and the garb taken out.
Not enough toiletries for 2 guests, luckily we brought our own.
